Dimensional Dance
Dimensional Dance Collective ("DDC") adopts a vision of dance that focuses on the three principles of community, authenticity, and style without sacrificing technique.
At its core, DDC believes in a holistic approach to dance instruction that centers a dancer’s confidence and personal growth instead of comparing them to their peers. DDC aims to nurture each dancer’s growth by incorporating a range of approaches that build confidence, recognizing that mindset plays a key role in development.

Our Founder
Founder & CEO Maya Williams has been rooted in dance since the age of three, training at her mother’s studio and later performing and competing through middle school, high school, and college.
While studying Mechanical Engineering at Hofstra University, she found herself reconnecting with dance in a deeper way through a student-run club; one that emphasized creative expression and community.

After college, Maya pursued a career in engineering, earned her MBA from Columbia Business School, and worked in management consulting, and dance always remained a source of grounding, joy, and connection.

Maya founded Dimensional Dance Collective to create spaces where dancers feel seen, supported, and free to express their full selves. DDC isn’t just about training—it’s about belonging. It’s a space where movement becomes a vessel for healing, artistry, and growth in community.
